Laughter is Good for you!

After a lot of our shows people will come up to me and the other comedians to tell us how great they feel… that they haven’t laughed so hard in a long time.  In addition to committing to writing this new blog, I’ve decided to make one more New Year’s Resolution:  To Laugh More Often.  It seems so simple.  I did a little research and found out a few very cool things.  Did you know that children on average laugh about 400 times a day?  Wow.  When do they find time to eat all of those unhealthy snacks?  How many times did YOU laugh today?  I’m guessing it was less than 400.  Laughter has so many proven health benefits too.  It boosts immunity, lowers your stress level, improves mood, eases anxiety, strengthens relationships and can even prevent heart disease.  What?!  It’s all true.  And you don’t need a prescription or have to deal with a co-pay.  This year why not give yourself the gift of more laughter?  That way next New Year’s Eve you’ll have one less regret!
